Raising Money for Down Syndrome Awareness Month - Through the Power of Sound Healing

This Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we’re honoured to share a story that beautifully weaves together science, sound, and love - and to raise money for charities supporting children with Down syndrome.

Meet Gal, a devoted mother whose journey into sound healing began with a single spark of curiosity.

A Mother’s Journey of Discovery

Over the past year, Gal has gone deep into the world of sound healing - and it all started when she read an article in The Green Parent magazine. The article mentioned how sound can influence gene expression, and something clicked.

With her background knowledge from the Trisomy 21 Research Group, Gal began exploring how specific sound frequencies might support her son Kamber’s unique biology. She started letting him listen to specific Hz frequencies and taking him to sound healing sessions - and eventually began hosting them herself.

“The changes I noticed in his mood, regulation, and calmness were enough to make me want to go deeper,” Gal shared.

Co-Creating 'Gentle Waves of Calm'

That journey led Gal to collaborate with us here at Full Circle Healing to create 'Gentle Waves of Calm' - a sound healing track designed specifically for children with Down syndrome.

Children with Down syndrome have unique genetic and neurological profiles due to the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 21. This can result in gene expression imbalances and sensitivity to stress. The track was created with the intention to gently support the nervous system, encourage calm, and potentially influence pathways connected to stress regulation and oxidative balance.

“This project represents the beautiful intersection of parent advocacy, scientific understanding, and therapeutic innovation,” says Paula. “It’s been such an honour to co-create something that truly serves the Down syndrome community.”

Two Versions, for Every Sensory Need

To make it as accessible as possible, 'Gentle Waves of Calm' is available in two versions:

🎧 Binaural Track – designed for headphone listening, creating a deep, immersive sound experience.

🔊 Isochronic Track – for listening through speakers, ideal for children who prefer not to wear headphones.

Both versions are gentle, soothing, and carefully tuned to support balance, relaxation, and emotional regulation.

Raising Money for Down Syndrome Charities

In honour of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, all profits from every download will be donated to charities supporting children with Down syndrome.

Every purchase not only brings calm into a family’s home — it also helps raise awareness and funds for organisations doing incredible work in the Down syndrome community.

Why This Matters

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month - a time to celebrate the achievements, gifts, and beauty of those with Down syndrome, while continuing to advocate for inclusion and understanding.

This project is more than a sound healing track - it’s a symbol of collaboration, love, and the belief that healing can be both scientifically grounded and spiritually guided.

Through sound, we’re not just creating calm - we’re creating connection.

With love and gratitude,

Paula
